19.05.2011 – Our booths at this year’s Control in Stuttgart and the GIFA foundry trade show in Düsseldorf were packed. Result of the numerous customer discussions: The requirements are high, the topic quality is more and more in the foreground. Especially the topics 3D and inspection with subsequent rework or repair by means of robots were in demand by the customers. “The whole world is talking about 3D lately, we have been mastering such system solutions for years” – Egon Guttengeber, Sales Managing Director of Automation W+R GmbH, summed up the situation.

The Technology Day 2010 in Kleinwallstadt last fall presented a similar picture. More than 60 representatives of well-known companies convinced themselves of the strengths of the company group consisting of Automation W+R GmbH and Boll Automation GmbH. The clear highlight: the world’s first system that simultaneously performs automatic crack and 3D surface inspection.
