17.11.2017 – This year, Boll Automation GmbH, together with its sister company, Automation W+R GmbH, will be represented with a presentation at the VDI Annual Conference on Injection Molding 2018. The VDI Annual Conference will take place from 20-21.02.2018 at the Kongresshaus in Baden-Baden. On Feb. 21, 2018, Dipl.-Ing. Carsten Krewet will give a presentation together with Dipl.-Ing. Egon Guttengeber on the topic of “Optical Inline Quality Control of Injection Molded Components – Industry 4.0 and Human-Robot Collaboration.”
Among other things, the presentation will highlight optical inspection, the difference between 2D and 3D, an example of an application in 2D and 3D, and an outlook on potentials and the implementation of inline inspection in Industrie 4.0. In addition, an innovative collaborative automation solution for the injection molding sector will be presented.
