06.10.2016 – Last Wednesday, October 5, the Quality Management Working Group was held on our company premises in Kleinwallstadt, near Frankfurt, to which the Industrial Association of Solid Forming had invited. Specialists and executives from various companies met at our company for the twice-yearly meeting of the Quality Management Working Group to learn about new automation approaches to quality assurance in the forge in interesting technical presentations.

A special focus was on the topic of quality assurance through human-robot collaboration. In a concluding joint discussion round, possible approaches to human-robot collaboration in the forge were discussed.

Another highlight of the event was the live demonstrations of various solutions in action. In addition to conventional automation solutions, solutions for quality assurance using human-robot collaboration were also demonstrated, in line with the main topic. Here, our visitors had the opportunity to teach their own robot path by hand within a very short time, which the robot then traversed independently.

The presented technical lectures and exhibits especially emphasized our unique combination of robotics with testing technology – from one source.
