07.12.2011 – On the occasion of the working group “Automation of the Industrial Association of Solid Forming”, we were able to welcome high-ranking decision-makers from the forging industry to our company premises in Kleinwallstadt, near Frankfurt, on 06.12.2011.More than 35 specialists and managers from companies met at our company for the annual meeting of the working group Automation, to which the Industrial Association of Solid Forming had invited. In interesting technical presentations, the participants learned about new automation approaches and innovative inspection techniques for forged parts.

Highlights of the all-day event were the exhibits installed in the hall area ready for operation. In live demonstrations, the automatic gripping cell for bulk materials developed as part of a research project and based on robotics and 3D vision showed its performance, and company representatives were also able to see for themselves the wide range of possibilities offered by a force-controlled robot system. The presented innovation projects prove the unique selling propositions we can offer as a one-stop supplier of robotics and inspection technology. The positive feedback from our visitors on this eventful day confirms the great success of the event.
